Who publishes this site

Sora Accounting & Tax publishes this website. The firm is led by its founder, Nauman Chaudhry, CPA, in Ancaster, Ontario. The articles, guides, encyclopedia entries and tools are published under the firm’s name, not under an individual byline.

How pages are written

Content is drafted with AI-assisted research and then checked against official sources. Federal rules and figures come from canada.ca, small-business guidance from bdc.ca and Ontario programs from ontario.ca. A rate, limit, form number, deadline or rule is stated only when the official page cited on that page supports it.

Pages are written in the firm’s own words rather than copied from the sources, and examples use round, illustrative numbers that say so. Where a rule has exceptions or depends on circumstances, the page says that instead of giving a single flat answer.

Review status

AI-assisted drafting and a source check are not an individual professional review. No page on this site claims that a CPA reviewed it. If that changes for a particular page, the page will say who reviewed it and when.

Dates and updates

Each page shows the date it was last updated, and articles and encyclopedia entries also show the date their sources were last checked. Tax rules, limits and dates change. When a page and the current official source disagree, the official source governs, and the page should be corrected.

General information, not advice

Everything published here is general information for people in Canada, mainly Ontario. It is not tax, accounting or legal advice for your situation. Calculators and checklists use simplified assumptions, and their results are estimates to discuss with an accountant. Sora gives advice only under a signed engagement letter that sets out the scope of the work.

Reporting a correction

If you think something on a page is wrong, out of date or unclear, email the firm at the address below. Please include the page address, what you believe is incorrect and, if you have it, the official source that says otherwise. Do not send confidential financial records. Sora reviews each report and corrects the page when the error is confirmed. No response time is promised here.
